Equity Works is a community organisation that seeks to undertake activities that promote our organisational Vision - A community of inclusion with full participation by people with disability. With the Vision in mind, we have established a presence at the Sunshine Plaza with a number of activities based there.
Equity Makers is a platform for artists to have their art visible to the public, to sell their art, share their individual stories and open opportunities for their individual growth and economic participation. All proceeds of sales are returned to artists.
The store is carefully curated to showcase artists wares at their best. Shoppers are encouraged to enjoy purchasing with the added social benefit of supporting local artists with disability be included in the economic life of our community.
