Respite Support Services offer a range of respite options for people with a disability. Services are delivered at our Respite Centre in Nambour where we provide support to individuals with a disability aged between 0 and 65. Centre based care for children aged younger than six years old will be subject to individualised assessment. In Home Respite can be negotiated only for those children under the age of 6 years.

Host Support Services provides support to families, enabling them to access suitable, flexible and individualised respite services for their family member in the Host Lifestyle Facilitator’s own home. The respite arrangements are all pre-planned visits and are ongoing throughout the year.

Accommodation Support Services provide supports for our clients in a range of in home situations. We work closely with our clients and their families to ensure that their individualised needs and supports are identified and delivered.

The Older Carers Initiative (OCI) is a program targeting older carers who support a family member with a disability at home. The OCI initiative is a twofold program involving supporting or sustaining the family in their caring role and participation in planning for future accommodation options for their family member with a disability should they be unable to continue in their caring role.
